The workflow in detail

Systems involved
Work orders · Team calendar · Inventory · Customer agreements
How the work happens today
The planner calls technicians, checks materials and moves appointments around. A change can affect several customers. Required skills and specific customer agreements may live mainly in the planner's head.
What the system does
The system retrieves jobs, availability and material status. Scheduling rules check duration, qualifications, travel and customer time windows. Agents investigate missing information and explain the options. Each proposal shows what changes and which confirmations are outstanding.
What the planner does
The planner asks: ‘Find time for this repair this week. The customer is only available in the morning.’ They specify two technicians and another job that can wait. The system recalculates. An afternoon check can flag anything missing for tomorrow's jobs.
Confirm before changing the schedule
Unknown material availability stays unresolved. Missing qualifications cannot be ignored. The planner approves changes and decides which customers must agree first. Calendars are checked again before booking; failed updates remain visible.
What Silvant builds
Silvant connects work orders, calendars and inventory, defines scheduling constraints and builds approval and write-back steps. The planner can describe priorities and recurring checks. Access to additional staff data or new permissions requires separate configuration.
